Anxiety

Anxiety often shows up as constant worry, racing thoughts, irritability, tension, restlessness, trouble sleeping, or feeling on edge even when things seem “fine.” It can impact decision-making, confidence, relationships, and physical health—sometimes leading to avoidance or feeling trapped in overthinking. Anxiety can be situational, chronic, or connected to past experiences.

The Will Within Therapy Group Approach

My approach to anxiety treatment is skills-based and practical, often using CBT to reduce overthinking and regain a sense of control. We’ll identify triggers, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and learn strategies for calming the nervous system (grounding, breathing, and regulation tools). When avoidance is part of the cycle, we’ll work gradually to build tolerance and confidence so anxiety doesn’t keep shrinking your life.
