Trauma
Trauma can come from a single event or ongoing experiences and may lead to hypervigilance, intrusive memories, emotional numbness, anxiety, irritability, avoidance, relationship difficulties, or feeling unsafe in your own body. Many people minimize what they’ve been through—but trauma responses are real, common, and treatable. Healing is possible without forcing you to relive everything at once.
The Will Within Therapy Group Approach
Trauma work is approached carefully, at your pace, with a focus on safety, stabilization, and control. Using trauma-informed therapy and evidence-based strategies (often integrating CBT and regulation skills), we’ll reduce triggers, strengthen emotional regulation, and support healthier beliefs about yourself and the world. When you’re ready, we can process traumatic experiences in a way that helps them feel less activating—so the past has less power over your present.
