Depression

Depression can affect motivation, energy, focus, sleep, appetite, and self-worth—often making even simple tasks feel heavy. You may feel numb, irritable, withdrawn, or stuck in negative self-talk. Depression can be triggered by loss, chronic stress, trauma, relationship strain, or life changes, and it can quietly impact work, parenting, friendships, and overall quality of life.

The Will Within Therapy Group Approach

I treat depression with a structured, supportive approach that combines CBT strategies with practical behavior-based change. We’ll work on identifying negative thought patterns, rebuilding routine and momentum, and increasing activities that support mood and meaning. Therapy also focuses on strengthening self-compassion, improving problem-solving, and addressing the underlying factors contributing to depression so relief is both real and lasting.
